Envisioned by artist EJ Hill, in partnership with Prospect NOLA, Rises in the East is a testament to the struggles of New Orleans East in the post-Katrina landscape. Our team worked to build this five-story tall, semi-permanent, outdoor art installation under tight deadlines and challenging weather conditions.

As much as this project showcases our metalworking and finishing teams, it proves that process and determination are just as important as craftsmanship and talent. We worked hand-in-hand with the artist and partners, using our knowledge of metalwork, finishing, project management, and installation to fabricate a piece that truly is a work of art.
