Project Estimator

Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring potential bidding opportunities for the architectural division using software such as Bid Connect, Dodge Reports, etc.
Responsible for estimating materials and labor for bids and issuing proposals in a competitive bid process.
Responsible for following up after RFP’s have been submitted and adjusting bids as necessary.
Responsible for communication and appropriate hand-offs to Project Management and Operations when a project is ready to commence.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in project estimating. 
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Knowledge of standard construction/bidding software and websites.
Experience with BlueBeam and ProCore will be considered higher.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, Slack, and other communications tools is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in Millwork, Metal Fabrication, Commercial Construction, and/or Themed Environments 

Architectural

Finishing Department Fore(wo)man

Responsibilities:
Lead the finishing team, fostering a collaborative work environment for spray techs, scenic artists, and sculptors.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality finishing for various projects.
Oversee finishing projects from conception to completion, ensuring precision, adherence to design specifications, and timely delivery.
Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to translate creative visions into meticulously finished elements.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in finishing craftsmanship.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and conduct maintenance and upkeep of all department equipment.
Drive continuous improvement in finishing processes, exploring innovative methods and technologies to enhance efficiency and elevate the aesthetic appeal of our projects.
Work collaboratively with other department heads to integrate finishing seamlessly into overall project workflows.
Collaborate with designers to ensure the effective interpretation and execution of finishing requirements.

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a finishing or related role.
Ability to read and interpret finish schedules and provide design feedback.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a creative team.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and Drive for record keeping purposes.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality product.
Familiarity with safety best practices and a dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
Familiarity with methods for working with specialty finishes including Automotive Spray, Direct-to-Metal, Composite and multi-part finishes, plasters, and other materials necessary for scenic projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in scenic or themed fabrication, such as theatre, events, film & television, or related industries.
Prior management experience in a fabrication environment is a plus.
