We fabricated a series of immersive scenic elements that matched the tone and scale of Anne Rice’s storytelling. Our fabrication team carved a 25-foot stage header in foam to resemble 19th-century ironwork—complete with an angel face at the center. We also built a life-size portico with Corinthian columns that could be safely flown and rigged for stage use. Scenic finishes gave the structure a weathered stone look, accented with draped greenery to echo New Orleans tombs. A centerpiece of the stage was a trio of stained-glass-inspired trees—16, 18, and 20 feet tall—each crafted with CNC-cut plywood, fitted with acrylic inserts, then wrapped in custom vinyl to mimic real stained glass. We carried the same motif into a custom lectern, printed directly onto acrylic to match the trees. Finally, a series of faux “cast iron” fences completed the vignette, tying the visual journey back to Anne’s beloved New Orleans. Each detail was approached with reverence and precision, helping shape a space that felt as otherworldly as the stories Anne gifted the world.
