Inside the historic McDonogh 19 Elementary School, “The Principal’s Office” exhibit traces the first brave steps of the McDonogh Three—six-year-old girls who walked past jeering crowds in 1960 and into civil rights history. We partnered with the TEP Center to fabricate and install the museum's first permanent museum exhibit, which commemorates the steps those brave children took to begin the process of school desegregation in Louisiana.
